4 Signs it May Be Time to Sell

Here are 4 signs it may be time to sell …

1. It’s a seller’s market. Despite what you are hearing about the market and interest rates, it is still a seller’s market for now in the Twin Cities NW Metro due to low inventory.  As long as you price your house AT the market, and present it appropriately, it will sell. 
   
2. You’ve got positive equity. Positive equity simply means that your home is worth more than what you owe on it. So, if your home is worth $500K and you only owe $100K on your mortgage, you have positive equity to put toward your next home or just pocket!
   
3. Your home needs remodeling or big repairs. Sometimes, it’s just easier to move! If you’re unwilling (or unable) to deal with the hassles of renovating your home, it may be time to sell. In that case, you can simply sell your home “as is” and let someone else deal with the repairs.
   
4. You’re emotionally ready to sell. Even if all the numbers work out in your favor, selling a home is stressful — even more so when you’re buying a new home at the same time. If you’re prepared for all the effort that goes into selling a home it may be time to sell.

There’s one more thing you’ll want to consider when it comes to selling your home…

Your real estate agent.

Your agent handles a whole lot more than just listing your home in the MLS. Your agents should also offer advice on how to get the most money for your home, repairs to make (or skip), setting the right price, and negotiating offers. Not to mention, all the marketing, showings, and open houses get your home sold fast.
