The Bridgeview Park Reserve in Big Lake MN is a 29 acre park that features one mile of trails that lead you through a restored prairie, a towering oak savanna and culminates at 1200 feet of shoreline on the Mississippi River.
A large section of the trail is paved and ADA accessible and this section of the trail is nicely groomed even in the winter. In addition to hiking, you can enjoy birdwatching, snowshoeing, and the beautiful views of the river. There is a picnic shelter near the parking lot of the park. There were no restroom facilities in the winter.
The park is run by Sherburne County. Bridgeview Park is located at 20711 187th Ave in Big Lake and is open from 6:30am to 30 minutes after dusk. Pets must be on a leash.
