The City of Dayton is in both Hennepin and Wright Counties.  It is a 20 minute commute to downtown Minneapolis.   The population of Dayton MN is about 4,800.

There are 2 school districts within the city; Anoka-Hennepin School District(11) and Osseo Public School District(279).

Dayton MN is bordered by the Mississippi River to the north and the Crow River on the west.  Dayton MN is home to Diamond Lake and French Lake.  There are also several beautiful parks and trails in the area right on the Mississippi River!

While there are some older homes in Dayton MN, many on small acreage, there has been a recent boom of new construction homes for sale. In fact the majority of the homes for sale in Dayton MN are new construction or built within the past 10 years. For this reason, home prices in Dayton have increased.
