The city of Brooklyn Center MN is a first ring suburb of Minneapolis and has a population of a little over 30,000 residents. Brooklyn Center is a great place to live due to easy access to Minneapolis, it’s extensive park and trail system and The Earle Brown Days Festival in June.  Palmer Lake Park is located off Shingle Creek Parkway north of the freeway. 

The Brooklyn Center Community Center features an indoor pool, water slide, wading pool and exercise classes and facilities.  The Centerbrook Golf Course is a 9-hole Par 3 public golf course.
