The Minnesota State Fair runs through Labor Day, September 4th
The Sherburne County Wildlife Refuge Wildflower Tour is Saturday 10am – 12pm at the Oak Savanna Learning Center. Reservations required in the link.
The Non-Fair NW Food Truck Mini Fest is Sunday from 12pm – 8pm, Heavy Rotation Brewing in Brooklyn Park!
Downtown Anoka will be testing a Social District from Wednesday September 6th – Saturday October 7th, from 10am – 10pm, which “allows people to purchase and drink beer, wine, or a cocktail from a licensed business and walk through a defined area of the city including public spaces such as a sidewalk or street to allows for participation in a district event/activity.” This will kickoff with a “Rockin on the Rum” concert Wednesday featuring the band Bad Behavior from 6pm – 8pm. There are many wonderful bars and restaurants in Anoka, be sure to check them out!
