In the Twin Cities region, for the week ending May 29 from the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors:

• New Listings increased 2.0% to 1,515
• Pending Sales increased 30.6% to 1,673
• Inventory decreased 45.4% to 5,837

We are still experiencing an inventory shortage, historically June and July are when we start to see more homes hit the market, and pending sales start to decline. Will it start to trend toward a more balanced market to help buyers out this year? Time will tell.
